The Port Fairy Historical Society has a very active archival service and geneological information can be researched on application. The research service is available for tracing family, business or general information.  All researches are conducted by experienced volunteers. The cost for a simple research is $25; more detailed and involved researches will cost between $35 and $40 per research. Our Society holds extensive archives for this purpose and our archivists are experienced in the field.   Copies of photographs of pioneers, where available, $8 per small print, $20 per A4 size print. Requests for copies of any other photographs must be submitted, in writing, for consideration by the committee.
